ASSISTANCE FOR A BETTER EDUCATIONAL FUTURE

Studies have shown that students who work closely with a counselor while planning their educational goals are more likely to succeed in any educational endeavor. That is why Marion Technical College offers the Student Services Department, staffed with a school counselor to assist with prospective, current, and former students. Student Services stands ready to assist students in their academic and professional endeavors. Our counselors work closely with students to ensure success in all of their educational goals.

Disability Disclosure:

In order to receive disability accommodations, students must self-disclose the disability to the School’s Counselor, Annette Maldonado-Garcia.  The School Counselor will schedule a meeting with the student to discuss the documented disability and applicable accommodations.

Our counselors employ the new state program, MyCareerShines™, that allows individuals to explore their interest in associated careers, review educational requirements for various careers, build a career and educational plan, and search financial aid opportunities.
