Career Dual Enrollment Overview
The Career Dual Enrollment program is an option for high school students to enroll in post-secondary courses, to earn elective credit towards high school graduation requirements, and to earn career program certification.
Marion Technical College offers 14 Career Dual Enrollment programs for Marion County full-time high school students, age 16 & older.
Students who are interested in Career Dual Enrollment at MTC should speak with their high school guidance counselor to discuss program options.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR CAREER DUAL ENROLLMENT

Accepting Applications February 15th – April 15th
**Applications must be submitted online and through guidance counselor
**All information regarding application process is on MTC website and can be obtained from Guidance counselor

Prospective Students
STEP 1 – Click the DUAL ENROLLMENT INFO PACKET to learn more about eligibility and how to apply online. Click on Career Dual Enrollment Program Flyer to learn more about the program you are interested in attending.
STEP 2 – Once you decide that you would like to apply click on the PARENT CONSENT/GUIDANCE FORM and print it (If you are unable to print it, your guidance counselor has copies)
STEP 3 – See your guidance counselor and discuss the career dual enrollment option, your guidance counselor will help you with your high school scheduling and will recommend you for the program if you are eligible.
STEP 4 – Your guidance counselor will give you and ACCESS CODE, come back to the website, and click on the green APPLY NOW link. Fill out the application.
STEP 5 – Your application will be processed when we receive the online application form (Submitted through the website) AND the parent consent/guidance form (sent from your guidance counselor). YOU WILL RECIEVE AN EMAIL STATING YOUR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE AND BEING PROCESSED WHEN WE RECEIVE BOTH DOCUMENTS.
STEP 6 – Acceptance emails will be sent the week of APRIL 28, 2024
