Campus Safety

Marion Technical College provides for the safety and welfare of faculty, staff, students, and visitors to the campus of MTC.

Monthly safety reviews are conducted to ensure a safe physical campus. An annual safety inspection is conducted by the facilities division of Marion County Public Schools to assess and correct any unsafe conditions that may occur throughout the school’s campus. Records of safety inspections are on file at the school.

Additionally, a security team, including a School Resource Police Officer, provides campus security at all times the school is conducting classes during scheduled terms.   The school also submits the annual Campus Crime Report, as required for post-secondary educational institutions.
