
This program prepares students for employment in a variety of welding-related occupations in the manufacturing, industrial, or utility industries. Students learn basic to intermediate skills of four major welding processes: shielded metal arc (SMAW), flux-cored arc (FCAW), gas metal arc (GMAW), and gas tungsten arc (GTAW) welding processes.

1,050 hours, approximately 32 weeks (Day) or 53 weeks (Evening)
Day: Monday – Thursday
8:00am – 4:00pm
Evening: Monday – Thursday
5:00pm – 10:00pm

Students may need to take a Basic Skills Exam no later than the sixth week of class. This exam will not affect your acceptance into the program. Please submit all official transcripts (High School, GED, Associates degree or higher) prior to the start of your program start date for possible exemption. Students will be notified after they have been accepted into a program whether or not they will be required to take the exam.
