The purpose of the Barbering program is to prepare a student for employment as restricted barbers or barbers. Instruction is designed to qualify students for employment upon successfully passing the State of Florida Restricted Barber or Barber License Examination.

Students may need to take a Basic Skills Exam no later than the sixth week of class. This exam will not affect your acceptance into the program. Please submit all official transcripts (High School, GED, Associates degree or higher) prior to the start of your program start date for possible exemption. Students will be notified after they have been accepted into a program whether or not they will be required to take the exam.
You will receive additional paperwork by email after applying online. Please allow up to two business days for the email to come through. Students may also visit the campus located at 1014 SW 7th Road, Ocala, FL, 34471 to pick up the paperwork in person. For further questions, please contact the school.
