General Educational Development (GED)

The purpose of the GED program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Official GED® Tests, be awarded a State of Florida High School Diploma, and be better prepared for higher education.

 

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Learn About The General Educational Development (GED) Program


  • Testing with TABE in reading and math (NRS Levels 5 and 6)
  • At least 16 years of age
  • Officially withdrawn from the K-12 educational system
  • Students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the four content-area assessments of the GED®: Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematics Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies.
  • Career and education planning
  • Digital literacy
  • Critical thinking skills

 


 

STEPS TO ENROLLMENT

  • Step 1.
    • Do not complete an online application if you are a former student OR have
    completed an online application previously. (move to Step 3.)
    • Complete your online application. (move to Step 2.)
  • Step 2.
    • You will receive an email once your application is submitted please review
    the attached forms in this email prior to coming in to the school.
  • Step 3.
    • Come in to pay your fees & schedule TABE testing.
