Our School Counselor, Kim Heitmuller is available to assist you on your road to successfully completing your program at Marion Technical College.
Ms. Heitmuller serves as a liaison to other professional and governmental agencies, connecting our students to resources in everything from emotional counseling, career counseling, academic support, financial struggles and crisis management.
Counseling FAQ
Our academic and career counseling can help students select programs and career paths while also assisting them in developing the skills (i.e., time management, test anxiety management, study skills) needed to obtain these goals. Personal counseling assists students with their personal issues and circumstances in their lives which may affect their achievement and satisfaction goals. Our counselor is an experienced professional who will not judge or pressure you but will work with you to achieve success.

Our counselor will assess your situation and make the necessary recommendations for services and/or referrals to community agencies with whom we partner.
