About this course
Course Prerequisites: General knowledge of fire service knots.
Course Dress Code: Students are representatives of their organizations and are to dress accordingly. Classroom attire is: long pants, closed-toe shoes, and acceptable shirt. Field attire is mentioned below.
Training will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. Please do not plan to leave the campus before 5:00 p.m.
What to bring:
5.Short sleeve or long sleeve shirt
Purchasing a book is not necessary for this course.
Your book will be provided for you and given to you on the first day of class.
Lodging: Call (352) 369-2889 for an on campus dormitory registration ($15/night) or there aremany hotels within 20 minutes of campus.
Food: The Cafeteria on campus and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday-Thursday and breakfast and lunch on Friday. No meals are served throughout the weekend.
