Technology Support Services

 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The technology support services program is an eleven-month, entry-level information technology program combining both lecture and hands-on training in the areas of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking technologies. The content includes but is not limited to practical experiences in the implementation, management, and maintenance of advanced technology user environments.

The program provides skills needed to prepare for further education and/or entry-level careers in the information technology field.

EMPLOYMENT OUTLOOK:

The U.S. Department of Labor lists Technology Support Services as having a “faster than average” job outlook through the year 2022. More support services will be needed as organizations upgrade their computer equipment and software.**

SALARY RANGE:

Salary in the technology support field will vary as to where graduates seek employment. In the state of Florida, Computer User Support Specialist may earn between $25,890 and $70,900.**

 

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION:

Students may earn a course certificate at the end of each course listed above upon successful completion of course requirements. Upon completion of all program requirements, students earn a Certificate of Completion in Technology Support Services.
