At Marion Technical College we provide just the right tools in order to succeed in accredited programs like Massage Therapy. Here’s how:
Training Tomorrow’s Massage Therapists Today
As the demand grows for competent, licensed massage therapists, so does the need for programs with comprehensive courses. MTC prepares students for the future by offering up-to-date courses that cover a wide range of disciplines within the industry.
So, by the time you’ve graduated, you’ll be equipped with the ability to deliver expert service to clients at everything from a chiropractic clinic or cruise line, to even establishing a home-based or mobile practice of your own.
If you do decide to practice in Florida, you are required to take the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx)—administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB)—upon successful completion of the program.
Student Massage Clinic
One advantage that we give to our massage therapy students is our state-of-the-art Student Massage Clinic. As part of the main program, our clinic gives students the opportunity to gain true, hands-on experience while working alongside knowledgeable, licensed massage therapists.
Since the clinic is open twice a year, from February through April and August through October, prospective students can book an appointment a get a real feel for what to expect by those who have already completed certain prerequisites.
